The key to success

         The "Ted Talks" video "Angela Lee Duckworth: The key to success? Grit" informs with the audience that the most successful people are not nessisarialy the most knowledgable people. The  narrator of the video "Angela" goes on to lecture that the most successful people are the ones with passion; the ones who aren't afraid to fall because they know they can just get back up. Angela talks about the possibilities of this information and how it can be taught to children to produce a more successful generation and brings up something called "Growth Mind Set". Growth Mind Set is a learning strategy that teaches that it is ok to fall, because it is through falling that we learn to land on our feet. There is still lots to learn about Angela's "Grit" theory but holds the potential for great outcomes and I fully support it.

  1. This is an excellent summary. You clearly understand what Duckworth is saying. You didn't include whether you agree with her. I do. I've seen brilliant children fail due to lack of motivation and hardworking kids shine.
    Minor technical errors in this one;
    1. cause - You mean either because or 'cause if you want to shorten it. The word "cause" is a noun.
    2. discuss - You have used it twice incorrectly. Discussion is a two-way communication. Duckworth did not "discuss" with the audience, she informed, explained, told, lectured, or presented to. She does not go on to "discuss" she goes on to explain, or clarify.
    Keep up the good effort.
