About the Author

Hello fellow humans. My name is Mitchell this post is just to tell you a little about myself.
As you may have deciphered from my introduction I am a human; I am a teenage male writing this blog as a school project for my creative writing class. You should all know that I am 6 foot 7, have a full beard, speak seven languages fluently and I am a compulsive liar. No, in all honesty I am only 5 foot 4, my beard is a Halloween prop and speak only English except for when I need to order food in another province. I am a musician. In fact, that is the reason I am in a creative writing class, I am working on making my own material. I play guitar, sing, play bongos, dabble at piano and throw down the occasional riff on the ukulele but for the life of me can't figure out how to play guitar hero. I enjoy the musical style of Will Ferrell, cause let's face it, music always needs more cow bell (to the 15 people in the world that got that joke, I love you. To the rest of you it was hilarious) I also enjoy most music that isn't pop country or metal and I love the occasional jazz instrumental record.
At the moment I am working the last few weeks of my job as a pizza vender. I am not being sacked, my job ends in October cause I live in Canada and any later than that we would have to serve our pizza with snow as a given topping. Unfortunately, it is nearing time that I part with my pizza boy job cause the winters in Canada are just to long and I am about ready to beg for money outside of the downtown stores when January comes around. This will be all for now cause I have work in the morning and my War album is almost over, but I will leave you with this "Why Can't We Be Friends?"

  1. Mitch, we can be friends, but you are going to be a lot of work for me little buddy. I have so many edits for you that I have set them up in a word file and will email them to you. I am prepared to do the work, if you are. I LOVE your sense of humour. You have a very unique "voice" in your writing and I an eager to see the poetry when we get there. I'm sure that you would agree with War when they say, "Sometimes I don't speak right, But yet I know what I'm talking about." Check your email.
